Backyard Estates gave us a fully inclusive cost of everything we needed. Adam was very specific: if you choose this package, this is exactly what you get. With the other builders, the price per square foot wasn't a true figure. We would have had to buy our own fixtures and appliances, pay à la carte for everything else, and even pull our own permits. One builder could build an 800 sq ft home for $150,000, but we would have had to do everything ourselves.
