My name is Jason, and the main reason we decided to build an ADU was for our parents. As they get older, we wanted them close by so we could help take care of them while still giving them their own comfortable space.

We figured, Why not just go take a look? That visit changed everything.

For a long time, we talked about building an ADU, but it always felt like a huge project and a major investment. We kept putting it off until Backyard Estates hosted an open house nearby. We figured, Why not just go take a look?

Because we're close to Foothill Boulevard, I knew there were likely a lot of rocks underground, and I worried about unexpected costs and complications. When we sat down with Adam and Tom, they addressed those concerns directly. They laid everything out—how much it would cost, how the process would work, and ways to avoid unnecessary expenses.

That transparency gave me confidence. It gave me the comfort to make the right decision.
